grown up decisions & catchup

So much has been going on lately! I can't believe it! And I haven't posted in FOREVER. Goshdangit. Anywho, we'll do a quick catchup and then I need some serious advice.
July:
5-7 We went to my family's campout. And had a serious blast! Razor rides, boat rides, fishing, and just some alone time in the middle of nowhere. I seriously love my family to pieces. They support me more than I could ever imagine!
^thats our fish. we didn't catch it but ty was going to eat it. seriously gross
he ended up not because it had been in the water too long.

 11 we bought a dog! probably the worst time ever to buy a dog, right before you go on vacation for a week and before you move. but oh well. we had been searching for an american eskimo for weeks and finally found one! ty seriously left for salt lake as soon as we found him on ksl. he is a sweetheart though!

13-20 MEXICO! we had such a blast! it was my first time out of the country and seriously, i'm so grateful for the U.S. it was totally opposite of the u.s. but i loved it so much! we went ziplining, camel riding, jet skiing, parasailing, shopping and so much more! we had so much fun!

26 dumb dog ran away. i have bad luck when i neuter/spay pets. my kitty ran away and so did my dog. we searched and searched everywhere we could think. i was so angry/mad/sad all at the same time. my little brother was so sad too. he kept telling my mom, "SEE! Prayers AREN'T answered." ): I mean, what do you say to that?

27 packed up the moving truck and looked for the dog.

28 moved up to salt lake. i'm not gonna lie, i seriously LOVE it up here. besides the traffic. traffic seriously sucks. i hate traffic. but other than that, it's a new adventure. we're broker than broke but, you know? life goes on. we're livin the college life. and i seriously love it. i miss my family like crazy especially when my sister got blood poisening and i thought she was going to die, buutttt. really. i love it up here. hopefully we'll make it to st. george sometime in the next year (;

29 PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED. we got a call, and he found our puppy! well, our puppy found him! (: my parents went and picked him up and met us in fillmore. and we live happily ever after. (:

p.s. sorry for the non-capitilization and spelling. its most def not easy to type with a freakin wrist brace on your arm. oh well.

Now for the advice. I am so frustrated! I hate, HATE growing up. and having my mom tell me that it's my decision. i'm so indecisive! I've finally semi-decided what to do with school. I wanted to go to Everest College to become an MA. Butttt, who wants to pay $18,000 for school when you can pay $1,000 to become higher up and get paid more? Not me! So I've finally decided I'm going to get my CNA. Eventually. I'm hoping I get some scholarships. Anywho. We're having troubles with our bank. It's just way hard having them be in St. Geezy and us in Salt Lake.

So, who do you bank with and why? Preferably something I can find up here... (:
AND, which phone company do you use and why? Is there a different company you would rather use?

I love you all! Sorry for such a long post....I hate playing catchup. But I'll get better. Eventually. (:
XOXO Ashleigh

We bank at Zions. That's where Colby's fam has banked for years, so it is just what we do. For what it's worth, the church uses them, so it can't be a bad idea... :)

I've banked with Wells Fargo and Chase and I like them both. It's so nice to not have to worry about finding a branch wherever I travel to. There's an ATM or branch for either one anywhere in the US. Plus, the mobile banking and security alerts are great. Look into their student options. You can usually get away without a minimum balance with those. Plus, they sometimes offer $100 credit or some incentive when you open an account. If/When you move, you won't have to worry about finding a new branch. But make sure you ask about minimum balances.
