most embarrassing moment.

Welp,
I guess I'll get to it.

So this gal right here is taking 17 credits. Probably not my smartest decision and I ignored a lot of people's advice by doing so. Of course, as in every situation, my mom was right. I'm a little overwhelmed. Mostly at just keeping on top of everything and making sure I do everything before its due. Don't worry. I just feel like I'm in high school again.
But I really do love college. I love learning again, and being a total dork. I love it.

Now on to the "excuses" for this embarrassing moment.
I'm stressed (of course) and I had a HUGE (2 pages? I think thats huge? Oh dear. (;) paper due today.
Monday I had a spanish test so 99.9% of my concentration went to that. And then on Tuesday I realized I should buckle down and work on my essay. I wrote most of it in between breaks and work. So my thought process wasn't all together and it was choppy. As most of my first drafts are. I emailed it to my mom real quick last night at 9ish. Not even 5 minutes later she calles me and tells me to come over because I need desperate help. (I already knew that! Thats why I mailed it to her! Thank heavens for moms!) I rush over there and she helps rescue my shipwrecked essay. Whew! Stress out of the way! So I'm driving back to the Prax's so I can be with my hubby. I'm hungry (when am I not?) so I called Ty and asked him if he wanted something from In-n-Out. We decided to go with french fries and a milk shake. Sweet. My mouth is now watering waiting for those DELICIOUS french fries to touch my taste buds. I order and get told the total is $7.67. Awesome. I look over to my passenger seat to realize my purse is not there. I looked in the back. Not there. Well, I knew that I grabbed it before leaving the Prax house because I couldn't drive with out my license. I was thinking I would just tell them that I left my purse at my parents and I'll be right back. Tyler kept telling me over and over that its okay. "People do it all the time" So I was like "Okay, I'll run to my parents and get it."
Nope. I left it at the Prax's in my rush to get to my parents.

I was SO embarrassed. Who leaves their purse?
EVER??!
So I pull up. Here is the conversation.

Boy that I don't know: Hi! That will be $7.67.
Me: Oh uh, hi! I uh....kinda left my purse at home. And I have no money. I'm so sorry! Have you already started it?
Boy: [mouth drops] Ummm, let me see. [comes back] Yeah. They've already put the fries down.
Me: I'm SO sorry! Really! (by now my face is probably as red as my Target shirts)
Boy: [stares]
Me: I'm so sorry! I'm just, I'm so sorry!
Boy: [now gaping]
Tyler: Babe, stop saying sorry, its okay. It happens all the time! Trust me.
Boy: [continues to stare and gape at me. like how could I order something without my purse?]
Me: I'm sorry!
Boy: It's okay.
Me: I drive off at the speed of lightening.

Okay, so maybe its not the pants dropping, pee your pants embarrassing.
But really? I died. Who forgets their purse?! Let's just say that next time I go ANYWHERE my purse will be on my side. (:
