Tributes to Parents

So you know when you were in kindergarten and the high school kids would come.
You would look at them in awe. Waiting. So excited to be out of the elementary school and into the real world.
And then you grow up.
And you're a senior in high school.
And when you read the quote,  "Some days I just wish I was in Kindergarten again where the biggest drama was when your best friend stole your pink crayon." you cry. Because you wish you could go back to the days when you could come home and cuddle up with your mom. And your homework was coloring in the lines.
And then you realize you weren't grown up until you move out.
You get 10 hours a week at work.
And your paycheck = $70.63
And you pass out realizing you have to pay $599 for rent next week.
And then your glasses break, and you need gas, and you have to pay off your wedding ring, and you ended up spending $160.50 during the whole day and you go home to cry in your moms arms.

I guess you really don't know how much your parents do for you until you're on your own.

Moral of the story:
I <3 my parents.

XOXO,
Ash
